Process

Working with a personal trainer is a partnership and going through the assessment allows both the trainer and you to learn about each other, the gym & the process to ensure success. During the assessment, the personal trainer will also discuss any limitations or injuries you may have, as well as your exercise preferences and past experiences with working out. We also go through a comprehensive physical assessment to note any compensation patterns that may lead to injury, any postural concerns, body mechanics and current strengths. This information helps your trainer tailor your program accordingly and avoid exercises that could exacerbate existing conditions.Ultimately, the assessment serves as a roadmap for achieving your desired outcomes while minimizing risks along the way. It’s essential to be open and honest during this stage so your trainer can design a plan that meets your individual needs and sets you up for long-term results.
